Job Description

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Focus:

  • Support senior members in delivering the project with technical expertise.
  • Contribute to the project with skills and resolve blockers.
  • Analyze and document technical solutions.

Operational Management:

  • Participate in design consultations with architects, technical analysts, and other IT team members.
  • Gather, organize, and document information for IT stakeholders.
  • Document and present design solutions and supporting rationale following established internal documentation standards.
  • Identify dependencies and integration points, recommending solutions involving program functions and interfaces.
  • Submit software products for review of compliance with best practices, standards, and enterprise architecture (code review).
  • Learn and enhance knowledge of various multi-platform system support environments, utilities, and procedures.
  • Deliver services with an agile approach.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Provide feedback to build team capability.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.

People Leadership:

  • Contribute to the project team's delivery.

Governance & Risk:

  • Review coding standards to comply with Infosec principles.

Experience & Personal Attributes:

Experience:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge/experience with Customer Communication Management Tool EngageOne (EO Application Server, EO Digital Deliver, EO Process Executive), EO Designer Suite Version 6.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing customer communications solutions using EngageOne or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in EngageOne Designer/Developer tools, including EngageOne Designer, EngageOne Interactive, and EngageOne Compose.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and functional specification documents quickly.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and logical analysis.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual design principles.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Strong understanding of document composition, variable data printing, and personalized communication concepts.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with other document composition tools such as OpenText Exstream, GMC Inspire.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
