Skillset required:
Ingenium, P-steps, S-steps COBOL, SQL, DB2, REXX
Purpose of the Role:
Create detailed design, develop / modify / test programs for configuration, development, customization, migration, conversion, maintenance and testing small to medium non-complex components of a project module with the objective of ensuring least defects in the product / release within the client and project specifications.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Prepare Tech design document, estimates and timeline for various activities handled by developers.
- Provide walkthrough of technical design with various stakeholders and receive required sign offs
- Development and unit testing of the code, perform code reviews etc
- Sound knowledge on various types of Life Insurance products such as Term, ULIP, Savings, Whole life, Pension etc
- Make necessary code changes to Ingenium touch points
- Provide support for implementation and deployment of code in Production environment
- Analyze and estimate new technical Change requests
- Follow products standards, quality assurance and guidelines
- Provide periodic status reporting to customer Project Manager on the progress of activities
- Support for Program management activities including regular status reporting and escalation of challenges/ risks on timely basis
