Overview
The Developer Analyst contributes specialized business and technical knowledge in multiple application development efforts. Principal responsibility will be to provide analytical and technical support for RealPage's applications in a research and development capacity. The ideal candidate will utilize industry experience to support RealPage processes, working closely with peers, developers, and clients to improve the overall implementation, usability, and functionality of the product.
As a Developer Analyst, will serve as a subject matter expert for all assigned products. Reviewing inquiries regarding product functionality and responding promptly will be a significant component of this role. The Developer Analyst I will also be expected to write code used in the implementation of their assigned products. This position supports the resolution of business-critical issues by developing data analysis, implementing process improvement, and delivering customized reporting to the department. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent analytical and research skills and relevant industry experience managing information and data.
Responsibilities
- Create strategic business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Design and develop business analytics with the entire stack, including the front-end, business, and data tiers
- Produce high-quality business reports and SQL code that's optimized for performance and scalability
- Maintain databases/dashboards, develop improvements, and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
- Create both recurring and ad hoc reports as required
- Regularly examine data and draft reports to locate and resolve inaccuracies
- Contribute to documentation where required
- Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
- Effectively communicate the results and insights of data analysis in written and verbal form to leadership
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams to monitor Revenue goals.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of Data Analytics experience
- 1+ years of experience writing complex SQLs
- 1+ years of experience building data pipelines using Python
- Experience with PowerBI/Looker or other data reporting tools preferred
- Experience building / working with cloud data platforms like / Snowflake / BigQuery
- Strong track record of delivering accurate and insightful analyses and reports
- Coordinate capture, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely information
- Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes and the ability to handle a large volume of data entry with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail, performance, and quality
- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Strong proficiency using MS Office applications and Google apps(Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Familiarity with RDBMS, preferred database would be MySQL 5.5/Snowflake or later
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Analytical and research skills
- Knowledge in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Identify solutions to product issues by analyzing and troubleshooting, only escalating issues to product dev teams when required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
