Role Overview
We're looking for a Developer Advocate who genuinely enjoys working with developers and explaining technical concepts clearly. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and community. Your goal is to help developers succeed with VideoSDK and bring their feedback back to the product team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear technical content including documentation, guides, tutorials, blogs, and sample apps
- Help developers integrate VideoSDK APIs and SDKs into their products
- Represent VideoSDK in developer communities, forums, events, and online platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve developer experience
- Build demos, PoCs, and reference implementations
- Collect feedback from developers and share actionable insights with internal teams
- Support pre-sales and post-sales technical discussions when needed
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and at least one backend language like Node.js
- Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and REST
- Basic knowledge of WebRTC, video streaming, or real-time communication concepts
- Comfortable explaining technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience writing technical blogs or maintaining open-source projects
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Vue
- Experience with Docker, Git, or cloud platforms
- Prior experience as a Developer Advocate, DevRel, or Technical Content Engineer
