Job Overview

Indo European Study Abroad is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Destination Manager to join its team at the Tilak Nagar, West Delhi office. The candidate will be responsible for managing study abroad counselling operations, guiding students on international education opportunities, supporting the counselling team, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Role Summary

The Destination Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a specific study abroad destination, while ensuring high-quality counselling and student services. The role requires strong knowledge of international education, admission processes, universities, courses, visa requirements, and destination-specific opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for providing expert study abroad counselling to students and parents, understanding their academic background and career goals, and recommending suitable countries, universities, courses, and programs. The candidate should be capable of handling students throughout the counselling and admission journey.

The Destination Manager will be responsible for managing leads, conducting counselling sessions, following up with prospective students, and converting enquiries into successful applications and admissions. The candidate will also monitor the performance of counselling activities and work towards achieving assigned admission and revenue targets.

The role will involve developing strong relationships with universities, institutions, students, parents, and other relevant stakeholders. The candidate will coordinate with university representatives and internal teams to ensure smooth application processing, offer letter procedures, and student enrolment.

The candidate will be expected to stay updated with changes in university requirements, admission procedures, scholarships, courses, intakes, visa regulations, and other developments related to the assigned study abroad destination.

The Destination Manager will also support and guide the counselling team, assist counsellors with complex student cases, share destination-specific knowledge, and contribute towards improving counselling quality and conversion rates.

Mandatory Requirement

Prior experience in Study Abroad Counselling is mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the study abroad / overseas education industry, with strong practical knowledge of student counselling and international admissions.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong counselling and presentation abilities, and the confidence to interact with students, parents, universities, and other stakeholders.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of the study abroad industry and demonstrate excellent relationship management, negotiation, follow-up, problem-solving, and team-handling skills. A target-oriented approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced education consultancy environment are essential.

Candidate Profile

Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in study abroad counselling and a strong understanding of international education destinations will be preferred. The candidate should have a proven ability to handle student counselling, manage leads, drive applications and admissions, and contribute to business growth.

Compensation & Working Details

The salary for the position will be 7 LPA to 12 LPA, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and suitability for the role. The position is based at Tilak Nagar, West Delhi.

  • The working schedule is 6 days a week, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
