Role: Workplace Engineer (Field IT Support Engineer)
Nature of Work: The engineer would be doing on-site IT support across given locations in India - Bangalore, covering deployment, break-fix, dispatch support, floorwalking, and scheduled visits for the end-user (Roehm Polyvantis/Accenture).
Technical Skills Required:
- Working knowledge of PCs, laptops, phones, and peripherals
- Familiarity with standard business software and systems
- Ability to provide disposal services

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-facing soft skills
- Independent problem-solving ability
- Ability to evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations
- Capacity to provide feedback on new technical processes to improve efficiency
Experience Level:
- Typically 23 years of experience
- Intermediate subject matter knowledge
- Works on moderately medium-complex problems
- Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures
Other Requirements:
- No OEM certifications required (break and fix is handled under OEM warranty)
- Fluency in the local language with basic English proficiency (for updating tickets and communicating with the service management team)
- Must pass a background check (criminal record, work permit, residence permit)
- Must comply with customer health & safety regulations
