Job Description

Role: Workplace Engineer (Field IT Support Engineer)

Nature of Work: The engineer would be doing on-site IT support across given locations in India - Bangalore, covering deployment, break-fix, dispatch support, floorwalking, and scheduled visits for the end-user (Roehm Polyvantis/Accenture).

Technical Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of PCs, laptops, phones, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with standard business software and systems
  • Ability to provide disposal services

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-facing soft skills
  • Independent problem-solving ability
  • Ability to evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations
  • Capacity to provide feedback on new technical processes to improve efficiency

Experience Level:

  • Typically 23 years of experience
  • Intermediate subject matter knowledge
  • Works on moderately medium-complex problems
  • Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures

Other Requirements:

  • No OEM certifications required (break and fix is handled under OEM warranty)
  • Fluency in the local language with basic English proficiency (for updating tickets and communicating with the service management team)
  • Must pass a background check (criminal record, work permit, residence permit)
  • Must comply with customer health & safety regulations
