Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of IT systems and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the IT support field.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
- Set up new systems and ensure smooth onboarding for users.
- Coordinate with IT teams or vendors for complex issues.
- Maintain records of repairs, installations, and upgrades.
- Ensure system security and data protection standards are met.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
