We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support / Technical Support professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer and network problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and peripherals.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates on systems and applications.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Train users on software applications and best practices for IT security.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repairs for desktops and laptops.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
