Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Desktop Support Engineer with 1.6 years of hands-on experience to join our IT support team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of desktop systems, troubleshooting techniques, and familiarity with enterprise tools, especially in the Outlook and Office 365 ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day user support issues and service requests via a ticketing system.
- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Outlook.
- Provide support for Office 365 (O365) related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and support Windows OS and general desktop applications.
- Manage basic network troubleshooting and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain documentation for support processes and user guides.
Required Skills:
- Experience working with any Ticketing Tool (e.g., ServiceNow, Zoho Desk, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Outlook installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, DNS, IP configuration).
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of valid and verifiable experience in a similar desktop support role.
- Must be able to produce the following documents:
