About the Role

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the school's IT infrastructure, including desktops, networking, CCTV systems, and internet connectivity, to support academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day desktop and technical support to staff and management

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi routers, switches, and internet connectivity

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems

Ensure smooth functioning of classroom IT equipment and smart boards (if applicable)

Perform regular system checks, backups, and basic IT security measures

Coordinate with vendors for hardware, networking, and CCTV-related issues

Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

Provide quick resolution to IT issues with minimum downtime

Required Skills & Qualifications

35 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer

Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi routers, switches, and networking basics

Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

Good understanding of Windows OS, desktop hardware, and peripherals

Basic knowledge of IT security and data backup

Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and provide timely support
