We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in India. This entry-level role is ideal for freshers looking to kickstart their career in IT support. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, helping to resolve issues with their computer systems and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Assist with network setup and maintenance, including Wi-Fi and VPN connections.
- Document and track issues using ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution.
- Train users on new software and hardware tools as necessary.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and DNS configurations.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
