The list of activities that are to be handled by end user support team are as listed below.
- Troubleshooting operating system and e-mail client related issues.
- Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop / laptop standardization policies.
- Installation and configuration of standard OS build, service packs & relevant OS/Security patches, Antivirus clients, email mail client & mailboxes, printers, scanners.
- Configure and troubleshoot Print Queues for Users / Groups.
- Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective team.
- Troubleshooting printer / scanner related issues (Limited to driver / OS issues).
- Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers.
- Troubleshooting issues related to standard software.
- Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop.
- Install client antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates on desktops / laptops which have failed automatic update. Good exp with Office 365, Outlook configuration, Hardware troubleshooting, Active directory knowledge.
