Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to provide excellent support to our users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist users in resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person support.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure all hardware is in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates for software applications and operating systems.
- Provide training and support for users on various software applications.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
