Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator to join our team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, formatting, and finalizing high-quality documents and presentations using tools such as CorelDRAW, Microsoft Word, MathType, PowerPoint, and Photoshop. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong visual appeal across all publications.
Key Responsibilities:
CorelDRAW
- Create high-quality diagrams, illustrations, and graphics
- Maintain consistency and follow established design standards
MathType (Equations)
- Accurately set and format mathematical equations using MathType
- Ensure clarity and proper alignment of mathematical content
Microsoft Word (Typesetting & Formatting)
- Typeset and format documents with attention to layout, fonts, and structure
- Format tables, headers, footers, styles, and page layouts
- Ensure documents meet internal and publication formatting guidelines
- Coordinate with content creators for seamless text and graphic integration
PowerPoint Presentations
- Design visually engaging PowerPoint presentations
- Incorporate charts, graphics, and multimedia elements as required
Design Tools (Basic Knowledge)
- Use InDesign, PageMaker, and Photoshop for basic design tasks and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the design team on advanced layouts when needed
Quality Assurance
- Perform thorough quality checks for formatting, alignment, and accuracy
- Ensure final output meets high standards of visual appeal and correctness
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DTP Operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Microsoft Word, MathType, PowerPoint
- Basic working knowledge of InDesign, PageMaker, and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for design and layout
- Basic understanding of mathematical content and equations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with publishing standards and formatting guidelines
