About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Application Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work on building and enhancing Augnito s windows-based desktop applications using .NET and WPF, helping deliver a seamless and high-performance experience to our healthcare clients. Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance Windows desktop applications using C#, NET Framework, .NET Core, and WPF
• UI Development: Design and implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces using WPF and XAML with MVVM architecture
• Integration: Work with RESTful APIs and web services to integrate backend functionality into desktop applications
• Bug Fixing & Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to maintain stability and performance
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews
• Collaboration: Work with QA and product teams to ensure features meet requirements and quality standards
• Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for code, modules, and processes

Technical Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in desktop application development using C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core
• WPF / XAML: Proficiency in WPF and XAML; familiarity with MVVM design pattern
• API Integration: Understanding of RESTful API integration within desktop applications
• Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL databases (MYSQL or similar) for data retrieval and management
• Experience with dependency injection and other design patterns
• Understanding of desktop deployment tools (Exe, ClickOnce, MSI, etc.)
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex issues and apply analytical thinking to solve problems

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building cross-platform apps (e.g., Electron, MAUI)
• Exposure to JavaScript and modern JS frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
• Exposure to any cloud platform
• Experience with audio/speech-related applications or SDKs
• Knowledge of healthcare domain or clinical workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
