Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Desk Attendant at Hotel Akanksha, located in Jagdalpur. The Desk Attendant will handle front desk operations, including welcoming guests, managing reservations, and responding to inquiries. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, maintaining guest records, addressing any concerns, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the front office.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and communication skills to professionally assist guests and resolve inquiries.
  • Administrative skills, such as managing reservations, guest records, and coordinating with staff.
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with front desk software systems is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a courteous, guest-oriented approach.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a front desk role is advantageous but not required.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management are beneficial.
