Designer-D3-Piping-Design Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting:
• Research, develop, and draft engineering blueprints, plans, and graphics for piping systems and related infrastructure.
• Create detailed designs and drawings using design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar tools) to develop models for new products and systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prototype Development & Testing:
• Develop and evaluate test prototypes to assess their functionality, safety, and performance.
• Identify and propose solutions for any issues or risks encountered in prototypes.
• Production Efficiency & Process Improvement:
• Analyze and assess the current production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Propose and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Cost Estimation & Budget Management:
• Estimate cost limits and budgets for new piping designs.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure designs align with the allocated budget.
• Supervision & Coordination:
• Supervise the manufacturing and production process to ensure the designs are accurately and efficiently implemented.
• Collaborate with other engineers, management, and the creative department to ensure alignment on design goals and requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of design and prototype outputs.
• Record Keeping & Maintenance:
• Maintain and update existing engineering records, designs, and documentation.
• Ensure all design changes are properly logged and communicated to relevant departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certification in piping design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or other relevant design tools is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in piping design engineering, ideally in the industrial, oil and gas, or construction sectors.
• Proven experience in developing and managing piping systems designs, prototypes, and production processes.
• Experience in cost estimation and budget management related to design projects is desirable.
