Infrastructure Processor Business Unit, a part of Networking and Processor Business Group, encompasses OCTEON and the award-winning OCTEON Fusion-M product families. The SoC family of multi-core CPU processors and Radio Access SoCs offer best-in-class performance, low power, rich software ecosystem, virtualization features, and open source application support with highly optimized custom ARM CPU cores providing an excellent solution for a highly flexible end-to-end optimized 5G platform.

What You Can Expect

Responsibilities:

  • Technically hands-on contributions along with mentoring and leadership for processor-based SoCs in Automotive/Server/Video/5G product space
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across geographies for SoC DV ownership for - TB architecture definition and implementation, creation, implementation and execution of test-plan (feature/performance/etc. aspects) sub-system and SoC level for a robust silicon tape-out sign-off contribute to in-house VIP creation for re-use across programs own 3rd party VIP integration, participate with critical DV-oriented inputs in chip architecture discussions, design specifications and reviews, emulation plan reviews and DFT as well as PD relevant DV activities (DFT DV, Gate-level simulations, etc.) to ensure end-to-end successful implementation of the IPs as well as Full-chip integration leading up to timely high quality tape-out
  • Own/participate in key Verification methodology initiatives with impact across multiple programs towards improved execution efficiency and zero-defect silicon outcome

What We're Looking For

  • BS in CS/EE with 14+ or MS with 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in DV of Automotive SoCs or ARM-processor based SoCs or multimedia SoCs
  • Strong in System Verilog, UVM and IP verification
  • Excellent debug capabilities
  • Strong in use of industry-standards flows for DV tools/methodologies
  • Experience/exposure with ASIL-compliance for FuSa (Functional Safety) in Automotive SoCs is a plus
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment and scripting (shell/perl/python) is a plus
  • Knowledge of C/C++
  • Experienced with industry standard project planning tools
  • Prior experience of key DV contributions to multiple successful SoC tape-outs in custom silicon, AI/ML product space
  • Experience with DV of multi-voltage domain, low-power and high-performance SoCs is a plus
  • Exposure/experience emulation set-up to support active debug
  • Strong technical leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of the organization
