Key Responsibilities:
Design Strategy & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers to deliver high-quality design outputs.
- Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive innovation and creative thinking across all design projects.
Project Management & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end design projects from concept to final execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet quality standards.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs meet company standards, industry guidelines, and client requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation of design processes, standards, and project specifications.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions.
- Present design concepts, prototypes, and final designs to senior management or clients.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the design team and cross-functional departments.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Implement best practices for design efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in design management or senior design roles.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in design software and tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Experience in product development, concept design, or creative project management.
