Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the design team, ensuring smooth execution of design deliverables, and acting as the key liaison between clients and internal teams. You will play a critical role in elevating our design output and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day design projects across multiple clients.

Lead and mentor a team of 10+ in-house designers.

Manage PI collection and streamline processes with the design team.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

Handle escalations and maintain proactive communication with clients.

Collaborate with the sales and project teams to align on client expectations.

Channel in-depth product and design knowledge to build client confidence.

Optimize design cost and ensure value engineering without compromising quality.

Present design concepts and negotiate effectively during the design phase.

Handle high-pressure environments, managing 20+ P2P projects per month.

Foster a culture of collaboration, harmony, and accountability within the design team.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

25 years of proven experience in a Design Manager or leadership role.

Proficiency in design and rendering software: SketchUp, Layout, Enscape.

Strong expertise in interior and graphic design.

Excellent project management, leadership, and team coordination skills.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.

Deep understanding of current design trends, materials, and cost-effective solutions.

High level of spontaneity, ownership, and initiative in task execution.
