AtkinsRalis India, part of one of the world's leading consultancies in the built and natural environment, is seeking a Middle East Highways - Senior Design Manager. This role offers the opportunity to deliver multidisciplinary offshore projects from India, working with international teams and clients, and developing global experience with a renowned consultant.
Your Role
- Lead large design teams as Project Manager/Team Leader.
- Provide technical solutions and oversee design delivery.
- Manage budgets, resourcing, and ensure delivery within agreed timeframes.
- Take ultimate responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with Atkins QSE standards.
- Interpret briefs, produce design solutions, and communicate effectively across disciplines.
- Undertake multidisciplinary project management, including lead consultant duties.
- Mentor and develop subordinates, managing workloads within a matrix structure.
About You
- Civil Engineering degree from a reputed institution.
- Chartered or nearchartered status with an international professional body.
- 12-15 years consultancy experience in the Middle East on large transportation infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in expressways and complex interchanges.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoad, AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of regional and international highway design codes (KSA, UAE, AASHTO, DMRB).
- Experience in offshore delivery models, client coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication skills and evidence of successful project delivery.
Desirable
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience as technical lead or project manager on international projects.
- Multidisciplinary project delivery exposure.
- Team mentoring and training experience.
