Job Description

We are seeking a Design Manager to act as a bridge between the interior design, architecture, and on-site execution teams. You will be responsible for overseeing design reviews, timelines, and budgets, as well as conducting site visits to ensure adherence to approved designs. This role requires a professional with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, 5+ years of experience in design management, and proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Act as the liaison between the interior design, architecture, and on-site execution teams to ensure all project goals are aligned.
  • Design Oversight: Oversee all design reviews, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to approved designs and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to manage updates, feedback, and material coordination. Actively manage client communication to prevent escalations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address challenges during the design or construction phases to ensure seamless execution.

Skills Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design management and on-site coordination.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of construction processes and materials.
