About the Role

A growing premium fashion house in Abuja is seeking an experienced Fashion Design Head to lead and optimize its production operations.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with strong experience in garment manufacturing, production management, and fabric sourcing, who can build efficient systems and deliver high quality menswear at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end production process from design to final output

Develop and implement structured production systems, workflows, and timelines

Supervise and manage production staff including tailors, cutters, and finishers

Ensure high-quality standards across all garments

Interpret and execute designs for premium menswear (e.g., kaftans, agbada, senator styles)

Source high-quality fabrics and manage supplier relationships (local & international)

Monitor inventory, control production costs, and minimize waste

Introduce and maintain efficient production techniques and machinery use

Train and support team members to improve productivity and skill level

Ensure timely delivery of all orders

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in fashion production or garment manufacturing

Proven experience managing a structured production unit or fashion house

Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and finishing

Experience in fabric sourcing and vendor management

Ability to implement production systems and improve operational efficiency

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment

Preferred Advantage

Experience working in high-volume or factory-style production environments

Exposure to international production standards and techniques
