Position Summary
Mechanical design manager with 15-20 years of experience in industrial machinery design, component selection, engineering BOM preparation etc. Design experience of plastics pipe extrusion machinery design is preferred choice.
Operating skill & good experience with design software like Creo, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Solid edge or other simulation tools is required.
Experience & Knowledge Of Handling ERP System Is Required.
Experience with PLM (Product Lifecyle Management) tools. Experience with Windchill is preferred.
Experience with analytical tools, ANSY, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) is a plus
Knowledge About Various Materials & Manufacturing Processes Is Required.
Experience / knowledge about various power -transmission systems is required.
Good knowledge about various standards & compliances like BIS, ASTM, DIN, ISO, UL etc. is required.
Experience in the use of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) methodology
Work You'll Do
- Engineering & Design work of preparation of assemblies & part drawings of extruders, die heads, downstream equipment plastics processing machineries
- New product development & deliver new innovative ideas
- Selection of bought out components for various applications & options.
- Designing as per manufacturing processes & various standards
- Communicating with cross-functional teams of Sourcing, manufacturing, assembly, sales, quality etc.
- Managing / planning work priorities as per requirement & reporting the same
- Managing through influence to achieve solutions and business objectives
- Providing support for resolving / troubleshooting issues faced on shop floor & machines in field

This role will be a part of Extrusion product design in India & global team.
Basic Qualifications
15-20 years of experience in mechanical design engineering & troubleshooting
Effective oral and written communication skills
Analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
