Design Engineers - Hydraulic Design &SPM

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), hydraulic fixtures, and proficiency in SolidWorks. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative and efficient machinery and fixtures that meet our operational requirements while ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:

1. Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) to automate manufacturing processes for various applications.
2. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machines, components, and hydraulic fixtures using SolidWorks.
3. Design hydraulic systems and fixtures to optimize performance, efficiency, and safety.

• Technical Specifications:

1. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that align with their needs.
2. Prepare technical specifications and documentation for machine designs, including hydraulic systems and fixtures.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure the designs performance and integrity.

• Prototype & Testing:

1. Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
2. Analyze and troubleshoot machine and fixture performance issues, making modifications as necessary to improve functionality.

• Collaboration & Communication:

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless design implementation.
2. Provide technical support during the assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery.

• Project Management:

1. Manage design timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
2. Monitor costs associated with materials, manufacturing, and testing.

• Continuous Improvement:

1. Stay updated with the latest developments in hydraulic technology and SPM design to introduce innovative solutions.
2. Implement improvements in design processes, materials, and components to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

• Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) as a Design Engineer, particularly with SPMs, hydraulic systems, and fixture designs.
3. Expertise in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, simulation, and drafting.
4. Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, including designing and testing hydraulic circuits, power units, and fixtures.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
6. Experience with the design of mechanical assemblies and systems, including actuators, gears, and other power transmission components.

• Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for structural and hydraulic system design optimization.
2. Proficiency with additional CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, CATIA) is a plus.
3. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machine design and safety.
4. Familiarity with PLC and automation systems is advantageous.
