Job Description:
We are looking for a Wireless CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in 5G / LTE telecom design and drafting. The role involves preparing and reviewing wireless site drawings as per US / UK / Australia client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Preliminary Design (PD), For Construction (FC), and As-Built (AB) drawings
- Wireless site design for rooftop, greenfield, pole, monopole, and tower sites
- Draft and update GA drawings, antenna layouts, RRU placements, mounts, and equipment schedules
- Perform redline mark-up updates and design modifications
- Ensure compliance with client standards, ICNIRP, and wireless design guidelines
- Coordinate with QC, team leads, and clients for design clarifications
- Support 5G upgrade projects (4G to 5G conversions)
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Wireless Telecom CAD drafting
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Knowledge of 5G / LTE / RAN concepts
- Experience with antenna, RRU, mounts, cabinets, and headframes
- Familiarity with US / UK / Australia wireless standards
Good to Have:
- QC experience on wireless drawings
- Exposure to Telstra / Optus / AT&T / Verizon / T-Mobile / Vodafone / EIR projects
- Ability to handle multiple sites independently
Not Required:
- BIM
- Fiber planning
- Civil-only drafting
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / BTech (Mechanical / ECE / Civil preferred)
