Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Engineer based in Coimbatore. The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of new products, creating engineering drawings, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Daily tasks include conducting mechanical and electrical design analysis, refining product concepts, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (Solidworks - Part, Sheet Metal & Assembly)
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in the textile machinery industry is a plus
