Experience With Solid Edge And Blender Required.
What We're Looking for
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer who can support product design and visual communication for boat steering systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Solid Edge, a basic understanding of 3D rendering and animation, and the ability to create clear technical visuals, documents, and manuals while coordinating with engineering, marketing, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Modify and finalize 3D models and 2D drawings in Solid Edge from STEP files.
- Create photo-realistic HD renderings for catalogs and marketing materials.
- Use Blender to develop installation and operation animations.
- Support preparation of technical and engineering documents, manuals, and specs.
- Work with the graphics and content team to develop visually rich installation guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Provide diagrams, visuals, and data for product catalogs.
- Assist in scripting installation, operation, and product feature videos.
- Maintain product FAQs, guides, and knowledge base content.
- Support troubleshooting and share customer/field feedback with Marketing.
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Solid Edge (models, assemblies, drawings.
- Ability to prepare, edit, and manage 3D models, data sheets, and engineering records.
- Ability to prepare and maintain engineering documents, Rendering Models, and Technical Sheets.
