Design Engineer (Mechanical)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves creating precise CAD drawings, preparing accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), and supporting the design and development of mechanical products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and compliance standards while maintaining clear documentation and revision control.

Key Responsibilities:

CAD Design:

• Create detailed CAD drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using design software.

BOM Preparation:

• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for all mechanical components.

Product Development Support:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical products from concept to production.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

Technical Compliance:

• Ensure all designs comply with internal and industry technical standards.

Documentation & Revisions:

• Manage design revisions and maintain proper documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and design parameters
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of MS Excel for BOM creation and data management
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
