Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Conduct design calculations and simulations to validate performance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams.
  • Review and improve existing designs for cost, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Participate in prototype development and testing.
  • Support product lifecycle from concept to production.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design concepts
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
