Job Title: Design Engineer - DPA
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer specialized in DPA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to perform dynamic simulations using Tce, Vismockup, and 3DX while ensuring CAD readiness. This role involves upskilling team members in DMU/DPA1 skills, understanding project requirements, and collaborating with engineering and supplier teams to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform dynamic simulations in Tce, Vismockup, and 3DX, and ensure CAD readiness.
- Upskill team members with DMU/DPA1 skills and clarify queries and doubts.
- Understand project requirements and work with the team to achieve deliverables.
- Interact independently with engineering and supplier teams to prioritize assigned tasks.
- Analyze the geometric compatibility of wiring components and surrounding components for design feasibility.
- Take complete ownership of tasks with minimal supervision to ensure quality deliverables on time.
- Support NPD/Change Management tasks for EDS FSS and DPA1 requirements.
- Work closely with the team to enhance the quality of deliverables.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in EDS, DPA, LV, HV, wiring harnesses, and routing.
- Understanding of the differences in EDS Wiring between various clients and EVs.
- Performing static and dynamic assessments and feasibility checks.
- Knowledge of IPS is a must.
- Ability to classify cross-functional or engineering issues in DPA assessments accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in ensuring 100% buck quality CAD readiness for initial P-Release.
