StructuralEngineer(1 Position)- We are looking for candidates with 10-15 years of experience. We are looking for candidates preferably from Baroda, having qualification in B.E/ M.Tech - Civil/Structural.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute designs of plant equipment for efficient structural design concepts.
Read and understand structural codes, construction specifications, drawings and review design plans.
Perform structural design and analytical calculation using governing codes and standards,
Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
Provide drawing for designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters
Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and other inter disciplinary
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering design documents
Ensure all pertinent input data is available for team members to complete the necessary tasks.
Create and maintain company and reference standards for structural designs and procedures.
Monitor quality of documentation issued from engineering and strive for zero errors.
Resolve structural engineering issues with shop /client through lead design engineers.
Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer
Perform special tasks/design calculations as assigned.
Report any critical risks to the Lead Design / Engineering Manager
Skills and Experience:
Graduate preferably Post Graduate qualification in Structural / Civil Engineering
Over 10-15 years of experience with advance knowledge in civil and/or structural engineering
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Knowledge of civil/structural design standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, EURO, BS, GBCODE)
Working knowledge of design software, STAAD Pro
Excellent attention to detail
Must be able to work cross functionally with team members at all levels across multiple departments involved in different projects
Ability to think creatively in order to optimize designs
Able to discuss and resolve structural design changes
