Design Engineer

Design Engineer responsible for creating, developing, and optimizing product designs, engineering solutions, and technical specifications that support product innovation and business objectives. The role focuses on transforming concepts into practical, manufacturable, and high-performance designs while ensuring quality, functionality, and efficiency.

This position requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs, models, drawings, and technical specifications
• Create and modify product designs based on project requirements and customer needs
• Conduct design analysis, simulations, and feasibility studies to validate performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, product development, and quality assurance
• Optimize designs for functionality, cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability
• Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot design-related challenges and implement effective solutions
• Maintain design documentation, technical reports, and engineering records
• Participate in product improvement and innovation initiatives

Required Skills

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in design engineering, product development, or related roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with simulation and analysis tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
• Experience working in automotive, aerospace, industrial, consumer products, or technology sectors
