Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Drafter located in Chennai. The Design Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical and engineering drawings, creating architectural plans, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The role requires collaboration with engineers and project teams to develop accurate and detailed drafting solutions for shipbuilding and repair projects. Quality control and adherence to industry standards will be integral to the daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings
• Familiarity with Architectural Drawings and general Drawing practices
• Experience and expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Strong understanding of shipbuilding design processes is an advantage
• Ability to interpret complex project specifications and deliver precise drafting outputs
• Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
