What you'll do

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to lead new product development initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions, particularly in RF cable assemblies and data connector systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive development of High Frequency Cable & Data Connector Cable Assemblies, including FAKRA, Ethernet, RF, and HV connectors.
• Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to understand design requirements and translate them into robust product solutions.
• Provide technical support to the business development team across design, validation, and product approval stages.
• Ensure adherence to automotive product development processes and timelines.
• Engage with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers for technical discussions and solution alignment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and validation reports.

Who you are

Strong technical foundation

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

Relevant experience

You should have 3 to 8 years experience in automotive electronics, wire harnesses, or related components with specialization in automotive RF connectors and cables

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD tools such as CREO and AutoCAD and exposure to wire harness design tools

Problem-solving skills:

Problem solving with experience in customer issue resolution.
