Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: SOHO Panchshil, Wagholi–Kharadi, Pune
Qualifications: B.E. / B.Techs
Experience: 3+ Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-orientated junior design engineer with hands-on
experience in home automation or lighting control systems. The ideal candidate should
be capable of handling design, estimation, and technical documentation for premium
residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed system designs, layouts, and schematics for lighting control and
home automation solutions.
- Develop accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
- Work closely with the sales, project, and installation teams to ensure design
feasibility.
- Review client requirements and provide optimal system configurations.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover (experience in this will be an
advantage).
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Skills & Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed system drawings.
- Strong command over MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good English communication skills (written & verbal).
- Knowledge of lighting control/light management systems such as KNX, Lutron, Dynalite, Helvar, or similar reputed brands.
- Experience in designing wired home automation systems is mandatory.
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in designing lighting control systems or home automation systems (wired).
- Prior involvement in testing and commissioning will be an added advantage.
