• Candidate should be DME/BE (Mech).
• Should have 5 yrs. of experience in manufacturing/Machine shop.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development: Create and evolve products and systems, from initial concept to final implementation.
- Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to ensure designs meet specifications and performance standards.
- Software use: Utilize CAD and other engineering software to create detailed models, drawings, and plans.
- Collaboration: Work with other engineers, researchers, and production teams to integrate feedback and ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Project management: Oversee the project lifecycle, including budget estimation, scheduling, and providing technical support during manufacturing.
- Problem-solving: Identify and troubleshoot design-related issues to improve product functionality and production efficiency.
- Quality assurance: Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
Qualifications and skills:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in design engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CREO) and strong mathematical and analytical abilities are essential.
- Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, strong attention to detail, and good written and oral communication are crucial.
- Other: Familiarity with project management and budget management is beneficial.
