Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Interior Design Auditor to support our design and project management teams for a client that is a top furniture and workspace design company and an authorized dealer of Haworth furniture.

This role is responsible for verifying the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of furniture specifications, finishes, and pricing across a range of manufacturers, including Haworth and others. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. The Interior Design Auditor plays a critical role in minimizing costly errors and ensuring seamless project execution from quotation to order.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate floor plans, elevations, renderings, finish legends, furniture specifications, and manufacturer quotes for accuracy and consistency.
  • Verify product part numbers, finishes/finish codes, and pricing across all project documentation.
  • Identify discrepancies or missing information and collaborate with the project team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Reference manufacturer specification guides, price lists, and websites to ensure all components meet technical and stability requirements.
  • Analyze building/site plans to confirm furniture applications are feasible and properly dimensioned.
  • Ensure compliance with client standards and guidelines for multiple commercial furniture brands.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various product lines, features, and technical capabilities.
  • Use design auditing tools such as Project Spec, CET, and AutoCAD to review and validate specifications.
  • Support project coordination and order entry processes as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1 year in a commercial furniture dealership, contract furniture environment, or similar setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Project Spec, CET, or similar design auditing tools for specification verification.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with major commercial furniture manufacturers.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and PDF editing tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup with a reliable PC/laptop and internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download/upload).
  • Experience in project coordination, order entry, or specification management is an advantage.
  • Amenable to work under US hours
  • Open to Working Full-time/Part-time.
