Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Architect – Interior & Furniture, based in Dehradun. The responsibilities include developing architectural designs, managing interior design projects, preparing construction and technical drawings, and coordinating with clients and teams to realize bespoke furniture concepts. The role requires overseeing design processes, ensuring alignment with client needs, and merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and technology. Active collaboration with production teams and artisans is key to delivering high-quality, innovative, and functional designs.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in furniture or interior design (carved wooden furniture preferred).

• Strong proficiency in: AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3ds Max.

• Knowledge of wood materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.

• On-site coordination experience with production/carpentry teams.

• Excellent detailing, visualization, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Architectural Design and Design Management
• Ability to create detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation
• Strong skills in Communication for collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders
• Experience in Architecture with a focus on interiors and custom furniture design
• Creative vision with attention to detail and an understanding of global design aesthetics
• Proficiency in relevant design and architectural software
• Educational qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Knowledge of sustainability and smart technology integration in design is a plus
