This position is responsible for achieving budgeted room nights and revenue target in a defined territory through 100% retention of all existing key accounts, driving deeper penetration into existing clients potential and meeting business development targets by acquiring all targeted accounts from the prospect list.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a Key Account Management plan for each Key Account assigned.
- Ensure continuous focus on acquisition by developing and acting on a Sales Pipeline
- Develop and proactively update a Prospect list for business development
- Conduct Client Business Reviews for assigned Key accounts per agreed periodicity with the client. Business reviews to be in the form of meetings with minutes and a formal presentation of data/ key benefits and outcomes.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage and knowledge of assigned territory
- Actively seek opportunities to grow domestic leisure and MICE business for the Company properties.
- Introduce new service / product upgrades to Key clients through show and tell and appropriate entertainment to get them to experience the Company's products and services.
- Effectively partner Hotel operations teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Achieve agreed sales targets through effective market penetration and customer contact.
- Assist in the development and preparation of the Sales and Marketing Plan and Sales Budget.
- Prepare and maintain on-line, updated relevant documentation, records, formats and MIS for easy referencing and retrievability.
- Ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive update of all client data into Sales Logix
- To keep abreast of market factors and competitor activity. Continuously benchmark company products and services against competitors to ensure the company remains Best in class.
- Co-ordinates and ensures the efficient operation of F&B functions, guest stays to ensure revenue maximization and customer satisfaction.
- Maintains close contact with guest and market and to earn goodwill and recommends modification of product, services, amenities based on analysis of feedback.
- Assists in F&B promotion and special promotional activity.
- Organizes PR activity, to ensure goodwill and effective market penetration, with in corporate guidelines.
Key Requirements
- Graduate with over 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of key business drivers.
- Good knowledge of the local market, external competitor activity and market trends/ opportunities
- Sharp analytical mind, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task on issues.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
