Develop and control the sourcing and procurement team including appropriate delegation of authority and responsibility.
Manage large Project procurement with multiple supplies from various supplier partners.
Create a total cost-efficient supply plan covering all external spend within the assigned project by utilizing established category strategies while securing all customer needs.
Ensure execution of established supply plan according to project schedule and within project budget.
Control the sourcing and procurement activities.
Ensure optimization of procurement based on Time, Quality, Money analysis of all procurement activities and to ensure needed logistics and transportation solutions on-time.
Estimate the should cost of fabricated, machined, casted, etc. components.
Manage stakeholders, by involving them and reporting supply plan status to project management.
Search and approve potential suppliers & develop the capacity plan for major volumetric categories.
Supplier mapping to ensure sufficient market knowledge and manage supplier relations.
Create negotiation strategy, execute supplier negotiations and create contracts/ orders.
Participate in Design to Cost (DTC) activities for the defined category product.
Analyze market prices and manage total cost of ownership for goods/ services.
Communicate contracts/ frame agreements content with key stakeholders.
Stay updated on category strategies affecting area of responsibility.
Meet Functional KPI s such as On-time delivery, quality & cost competitiveness.
