Job Purpose
This role drives the overarching media strategy for Social Commerce and Social on Digital Platforms across YouTube, Meta platforms, influencers, and business goals on social platforms. This requires envisioning and driving the achievement of AOP targets for followers, views, traffic, and business actions with high-impact initiatives on social platforms. It involves setting visionary strategic goals, optimizing campaign performance, and cultivating high-impact strategies to significantly enhance brand presence, business growth, and social channels growth. By leveraging cross-functional collaboration and data-driven insights, this role ensures that media strategies are not only aligned with but also advance the organization's long-term objectives and adapt to evolving digital trends.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Strategic Formulation: Develop and refine the overarching media and platform strategy, including the media mix and platform selection, to drive alignment with social commerce and business objectives to maximize efficacy of the outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to platform teams and deliver actionable business insights to enhance team effectiveness and alignment with broader strategic goals.
- Audience Insight: Deeply understand and analyze customer and audience behaviors to inform and shape targeted, high-impact media strategies that resonate and drive engagement.
- Campaign Architecture & Orchestration: Architect and orchestrate high-impact, multi-channel media campaigns, including tailored business-specific initiatives aimed at elevating brand awareness, driving targeted traffic, and enhancing app engagement. Employ sophisticated analytics and optimization techniques to maximize campaign performance and ensure superior ROI.
- Performance Analytics & Strategic Reporting: Implement robust performance tracking mechanisms, utilizing advanced analytics to generate comprehensive reports and actionable insights. Evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and adapt strategies based on data-driven evaluations and strategic priorities.
- Cross-Departmental Integration: Serve as the media lead in cross-functional project teams, ensuring seamless integration of media strategies with broader marketing, sales, and product initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure that media activities support and enhance overall business objectives and address any inter-departmental challenges that may arise.
- Financial Stewardship & Resource Allocation: Oversee media budget management with precision, strategically allocating resources to enhance campaign efficiency and achieve cost-effective results. Conduct financial analyses to inform budgetary adjustments and investment decisions.
- Media for Influencer Strategy & Management: Design and execute strategic influencer marketing initiatives, leveraging an extensive network of key influencers to amplify brand messaging and foster substantial audience engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including media agencies, platform representatives, and industry influencers. Communicate media strategies, performance, and insights effectively to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

Required Qualifications And Experience
- Masters or bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of media platforms, digital advertising, and emerging trends in digital marketing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other media tracking tools.
- Excellent strategic planning and campaign management skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute effective media strategies.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget management, cost optimization, and financial forecasting.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing relationships with influencers, media agencies, and platform representatives.
- Leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing a media team.
