Job Description - Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics initiatives and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic business decisions. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional stakeholder communication, and the ability to design scalable, production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition and data exploration to model development, validation, and deployment.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning, statistical modeling, NLP and optimization techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Continuously improve model performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments.
- Deliver high-quality dashboards, visualizations, and presentations tailored to business and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines, efficient model workflows, and scalable infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists, promoting best practices in experimentation, coding, and documentation.
- Stay current on emerging data science tools, technologies, and methodologies, evaluating their potential impact and adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics techniques.
- Expert proficiency in Python and strong working knowledge of Databricks or similar cloud analytics platforms.
- Strong command of SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets. Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with modern DS/ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark MLlib).
- Proven track record of communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive projects with minimal oversight.
