Deputy Manager - Warranty Management (Fire Fighting Engine Pumps)

KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a driven Deputy Manager - Warranty Management (Fire Fighting Engine Pumps) to lead the effective complaint management for our firefighting engine and industrial pumps. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the Engine & Pump Industry who possesses a strong technical background in these products and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Major Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage complaints for firefighting engine and industrial pumps.
• Ensure on-time complaint closure.
• Coordinate complaints/commissioning with Engine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
• Manage Field Service Coordinators of the Engine OEM and follow up with them until complaint closure.
• Document all complaint interactions and resolutions.
• Investigate the root cause of complaints and identify potential solutions.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of complaints.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Provide technical support to the Field Service team as required.
• Book & execute spares for warranty complaints with close coordination with the Engine OEM.
• Coordinate with TSS (Technical Sales Support), PMPS (Product Management & Production Systems), QA (Quality Assurance) & Production for product/process improvement.
• Prepare reports on complaint trends, defect trends, resolution times & other relevant metrics. Present findings & recommendations to management in monthly meetings.
• Arrange Technical Trainings for firefighting industrial pumps.
• Manage warranty & service agreements with engine suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Formal Education: Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical.
• Professional Experience: Years experience in the Engine & Pump Industry.
