Job Title: Deputy Manager Trade Activation- Independent Pharmacy

Location: Mumbai / Hyderabad

Job Description: Lead account activation and execution of brand strategies, roll out campaigns, promotion calendar and on-ground activations to drive sustainable brand consumption and sales growth for Independent Pharmacy Accounts under the supervision of the Trade Activation Manager India working closely with the Prescription Channel Sales Head

Key Responsibilities

Team Management, Training & Development

  • Key responsibility of handling third part resources i.e., Merchandisers
  • Accountable for Team trainings to improve capabilities and ensure that the team becomes proficient & future ready from an execution standpoint.
  • Train stakeholders on ethical considerations and provide guidance on decisions and act in accordance with Galderma values
  • Conduct monthly performance review meeting with Merchandisers & agency partners
  • Travel in key markets, develop strong relationships with the sales function, gather understanding of the market requirement and come back with suggestion to grow the brand and business

Agency Handling

  • Work with several subcontractors, such as third part manpower service agency, advertising agencies, printing houses, etc
  • Build strong agency partnerships to deliver world class activation.

Visibility & Merchandising

  • Develop and execute Trade Marketing initiatives in coordination with business stake holders
  • Execute display and merchandising guidelines in every channel; develop display aids, and local vendors
  • Pilot test key in-market initiatives, analyze results and make recommendations
  • Analyze competition through market information to finalize the marketing element of existing brand and new product launch strategy.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership, customer orientation, company values, ethics and pride through exemplary behavior.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to practice and techniques related to Promoters, Merchandisers i.e. offline retailing (Standalone Pharmacy)
  • Experience in Trade Marketing function in FMCG background
  • Key account management skills with ability to build relationships with key customers
  • Expert communication skills, both verbal as well as written.
  • Expert understanding of different components of offline commerce.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business or similar and Master's degree would be an added advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3-4 years continuous experience in trade activation management role for Pharma/FMCG company. Candidates with exposure of handling Independent Pharmacy accounts shall be preferred.
  • Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office suite & knowledge acquired in channel marketing or retailer activations
