Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Sourcing in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company's goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.
Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore
This is a 5-day, in-office role, with the 1st and last Saturdays of each month as working days. Please apply if you are comfortable with this schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for Li-Ion cells RMs aligned with long-term capacity and cost targets.
- Lead supplier identification, development, and performance management across global and Indian suppliers.
- Drive cost and value optimization using TCO, should-costing, and structured negotiations.
- Monitor commodity markets, global indices, and battery material price trends; publish monthly Commodity Insights for decision-making.
- Lead contract strategy and negotiations including pricing mechanisms, KPIs and risk-sharing models.
- Drive alternate sourcing and India localization roadmaps to de-risk supply chains while maintaining quality and technical compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, finance, and project teams to align sourcing with technical and commercial needs.
- Embed ESG, compliance, and ethical sourcing across the battery supply base.
Localisation:
- Identify and qualify Indian suppliers for battery materials and components.
- Develop phased localization plans aligned with, import substitution, and cost-reduction goals.
- Support supplier capability development to meet battery-grade quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
