Deputy Manager Purchase

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement activities for EPC projects (Transmission Lines, Substations, and Power Distribution)
• Source, evaluate, and procure materials such as transformers, switchgear (GIS & AIS), and circuit breakers
• Prepare RFQs, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize purchase orders
• Develop and manage vendor relationships, including negotiation of pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms
• Coordinate closely with engineering, project, and site teams for material planning and timely delivery
• Handle logistics and material management, including transportation and site delivery of heavy electrical equipment
• Track procurement schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper material handling and storage practices
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and company procurement policies
• Maintain procurement documentation, reports, and MIS
