Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Product Owner is the owner of the solution requirements and should be a representative of the business.

Ensure that all process, documentation, and user stories (with clearly defined acceptance criteria) being created or modified are aligned to desired business outcomes of the program

Prioritize the Project Backlog, Disambiguate requirements, mediate with the business stakeholders if necessary.

Be available to answer questions about requirements and have the authority to make decisions as necessary, reaching out to other stakeholders as required

Facilitate communication between the implementation team and Sentara stakeholders as required Sign off acceptance criteria for user stories being implemented.

Analyze the current and future state of the HR Tech landscape, where our current products sit vs. competitors, and how we should respond to market and client needs within that context.

  • Product Strategy Vision : Define the long-term product roadmap for the ATS offering, aligning it with business goals and market needs.
  • Market Research : Conduct market research to understand customer pain points and competitive landscape, identifying new opportunities to enhance the ATS platform.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support) to deliver product features, enhancements, and updates.
  • Stakeholder Management : Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment on product direction and priorities.
  • Customer Experience : Ensure the ATS offering meets the needs of hiring teams, HR professionals, and candidates by prioritizing user-friendly design, functionality, and performance.
  • Compliance Security : Ensure the ATS complies with relevant regulations (such as GDPR, EEOC) and maintains strong security protocols for sensitive data.
  • Continuous Improvement : Continuously monitor and evaluate the products performance in the market and make adjustments based on feedback and evolving needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field (Master s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on ATS or HR technology.
  • Proven experience managing SaaS products or technology offerings.
  • Strong understanding of ATS platforms, recruitment processes, and HR technology.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, including data privacy laws like GDPR.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge on ATS software platforms
  • Experience in product marketing or user experience (UX) design.
  • Certifications in product management or Agile methodologies.
