We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager/Manager in the HR Department. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing HR functions within the manufacturing industry, specifically in the iron and steel sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in streaming HR policies and processes effectively and to handle contract labours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all HR operations, ensuring compliance with the Factory's Act and other relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business objectives.
- Lead initiatives for employee engagement and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulatory compliance.
- To interact and set polices with the Contractors and Contract Labour optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Manage recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent focusing on the specific skill sets needed in the factory environment.
- Oversee payroll administration ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Streamline HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with DISH and other safety regulations.

Qualifications:
Work Experience:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in HR within a factory setting, preferably in the iron and steel industry.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, with the last position being Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Should be in and around Gummidipoondi locality.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in change management and organizational development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
